How To Turn An Aluminum Knob On A Metal Lathe

In this video, I show you how to turn a knob from aluminum on a metal lathe. This is my first machining project, so please be kind in the comments if I used incorrect terminology! I think the knob turned out pretty nice and I can't wait to hone my skills on the metal lathe. I'm thinking a metal shifter knob might be next! If you've got ideas of things you want to see turned on the metal lathe, let me know.

The lathe I used in this video is the Precision Matthews PM-1022V. I'm really happy with this lathe and think it is an outstanding value. To read more about the lathe's specs, click here: http://bit.ly/precisionmatthews
